Sinopsis

Dr Georgi Lulchev, a psychiatrist, neurologist, administrator, amateur chef, entrepreneur and Director of the Home for Psychologically Challenged Men. His dream is to organise a farm in the yard of the Home, situated in a former 16th century monastery near Sofia, where the patients can raise snails, ostriches and pheasants, produce silk fibres and soy bread in order to guarantee their sustenance in a country where 80% of the population live in poverty.

Andrey Paounov

Has worked as chef, gardener and accountant in Prague, New York and San Francisco. Graduated from the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts, Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2000. His first documentary, Georgi and the Butterflies (2004) was shown at more than fifty festivals throughout the world, including Punto de Vista, and won the Silver Wolf at IDFA.
